What Kind of Preacher Are You?
Discover your natural preaching voice and the one thing to watch for so it actually transforms people.
Information isn't transformation.
Every table at The Table runs on the same engine. The vocabulary changes depending on who's in the room (sermon, speech or strategy) but the shift required never does.

Why a table.
A pulpit faces one way. A stage faces one way. A table doesn't: everyone around it can see each other and everyone around it is expected to say something.
A platform for transformational voices
The Table is broader than preaching. It exists for anyone whose job is to speak and be listened to: preachers, communicators and leaders, who want that speaking to change the people on the other end of it.
Most training in all three of those fields optimises for the wrong thing: better delivery, tighter structure, more confident stage presence. Useful, but not the actual problem. The actual problem is that most communication informs without ever touching what the listener already believes.
One engine, three vocabularies
Every table teaches the same underlying shift: Truth, Exposure, Freedom, Response, translated into the language of that room. For a preacher, that's Scripture, the lie, the truth and a call to response. For a communicator, it's the same shape in different words. For a leader, the same shape again.
The vocabulary flexes. The order doesn't.

Preaching for Transformation
Most preachers don't need more information about preaching. They need a way of handling Scripture that helps people change.
What this actually develops
The Preachers Table exists to help preachers:
- Faithfully handle Scripture
- Find the main point of a passage
- Identify the tension it's speaking into
- Expose the lie people are already living by
- Communicate truth clearly, without jargon
- Build sermons that need Jesus to work
- Develop application people can actually act on
- Call people to a real response
- Practise preaching and receive useful feedback
- Grow alongside other preachers
Hands-on from the first session
This isn't a lecture series. Every session includes practical exercises: building outlines live, naming tensions out loud, taking a real sermon through the framework, then a hot seat in the final session where preachers give and receive feedback on their own work.
The current programme runs as a 5-session Intensive, followed by an ongoing monthly table where the framework goes deeper, including specialist teaching on funerals, difficult passages, controversial topics and the preacher's own spiritual health.

The engine underneath it
Truth, Exposure, Freedom, Response is what needs to happen in your listeners. These six moves are how a sermon gets them there. Vocabulary can flex; the order doesn't.
The ongoing table
Opening soon. Register your interest below to be first to hear when doors open.
The Intensive is where you learn the framework. What comes after is where you keep growing with it, together, month by month, at whichever level fits right now.
You don't need to complete the Intensive first for either tier: experienced preachers are welcome to join directly. Both tiers cover the same rotating monthly topics.
A starting list, not an exhaustive one. The exact rotation grows over time.
Community and Membership share one discussion space, so it stays lively as it grows. The monthly "Ask Reg Anything" thread is for Membership members.
Which one is for you?
Community: “I want to keep growing.” Monthly practice alongside preachers who are serious about getting better.
Membership: “I want feedback on my actual preaching.” Everything in Community, plus your sermons reviewed against a clear standard.
Keep growing: monthly teaching and practice
A monthly rhythm of learning and practice. Each month you learn one part of the craft, then put it to work in your own preaching.
- A monthly teaching from Reg on one part of the craft
- A practical challenge to apply it to your next sermon
- Share your work in the Practice Room and get feedback from other members, using the Evaluation Scorecard
- Discussion with preachers who understand the pressure of the pulpit
- Full archive of every past month's teaching
First 20 members: £15/mo locked in for as long as you stay, even after it rises to £19 for new joiners.
Get feedback: your preaching, reviewed against a standard
For the preacher who doesn't just want to learn, but wants someone to help them get better. Everything in Community, plus a welcome review, a quarterly Preaching Clinic and a written review of a sermon clip every quarter.
- Everything in Community
- A welcome review of a sermon clip in your first 30 days
- A live Preaching Clinic with Reg every quarter: see real preaching coached live, bring your questions, then leave with something to work on
- A written review of a sermon clip (up to 10 minutes) each quarter, using the Evaluation Scorecard
- Monthly "Ask Reg Anything" thread
- Priority access to future cohorts and new tables
First 10 members only: £29/mo locked in for as long as you stay. Once those seats are gone, the rate is £35/mo standard, or £29/mo for Intensive graduates.

Why not just ask a friend?
A friend gives you an opinion. Membership gives you a standard. Every clip you send is reviewed against the same framework (Truth, Exposure, Freedom, Response) and the same Evaluation Scorecard, so your feedback stays consistent from one review to the next. The scorecard is free and you should use it. But a form doesn't know what a strong sermon sounds like. Reg does. Every review is held to his standard.

The Preachers Table: Programme
First cohort starts Spring 2027: weekday evenings at 7:45pm (UK time) on Zoom, roughly fortnightly. Book now to secure the founding cohort price.
Overview
Five live sessions, building from philosophy through to delivery and feedback. Each session runs around two hours and pairs two connected themes, giving each room to breathe rather than rushing through content.
This is the entry point into The Preachers Table. No prior training needed. You don't have to finish it to join the ongoing table later either. Come as you are.
Who it's for
If you're newer to preaching (never had formal training, self-taught, or still finding your feet), this gives you the foundation: how to find the big idea, build a sermon that actually goes somewhere and call people to a real response.
If you've been preaching for years, this gives you something different: not new information but language for what you already do by instinct. Right now you probably preach well without being able to fully explain why. This gives you the words to name it, refine it and teach it to someone else.
Whatever your church tradition, you're welcome. The framework is built on faithfully handling Scripture, so it works for preachers across denominations.
Already experienced and don't need the foundations? The Membership has no Intensive prerequisite. Once it opens, you're welcome to join it directly.
Shaped to where you are
Before your cohort starts, we'll ask how long you've been preaching and how often you preach now, so the teaching and hot-seat feedback meet you at your stage. As cohorts grow, we'll use it to group people at a similar stage together.
Curriculum

What's included
The Completion Toolkit
You'll finish with six practical tools built on the framework, yours to use on every sermon after this one.

- The Theology Checklist: to run your draft through before you preach it
- Preaching on a Busy Week: a time-budget guide for real weeks, not ideal ones
- Preaching a Funeral: a compressed guide for when the call comes
- Your Voice & Structure Card: a one-page reference for your preaching voice, your structure leaning and what to watch for in each
FAQs
No. The Intensive is built to work for first-time preachers and experienced preachers alike: everyone starts from the same framework.
No. It's for anyone who preaches or teaches Scripture: full-time pastors, lay preachers and anyone stepping into it for the first time.
Yes. The Intensive is for preachers across church traditions and denominations. The framework is built on faithfully handling Scripture and calling people to respond, which every tradition shares. Reg is an ordained Assemblies of God minister. Session 4 includes the Holy Spirit's part in preaching, taught in a way preachers from any background can use.
You're warmly invited to join the ongoing Preachers Table: new teaching from Reg every month, plus a written sermon clip review every quarter on the Membership tier. Joining isn't required and you're welcome to stop after the Intensive.
No. There's no homework. Everything happens in the live sessions, so all you need to bring is yourself and two hours every other week. Your workbook is yours to keep if you want to go further.
You'll bring a short section of your own preaching and receive feedback in a supportive setting. Hot-seat sessions are never recorded.
Live on Zoom, with real Q&A. Sessions are not a self-paced video course.
The first cohort runs in Spring 2027, on weekday evenings at 7:45pm (UK time), roughly fortnightly. Exact dates are confirmed by email after booking. If the confirmed dates don't work for you, you'll still get recordings of that cohort's teaching sessions, so you won't miss the teaching.
No, preachers from anywhere are welcome. Sessions run live in UK time and pricing is in GBP, so it's worth checking the time works for your timezone.

Reg Awoliyi
Founder of The Table
I'm a preacher, pastor, communicator and teacher. I founded The Table.
Preaching for Transformation, the framework at the heart of The Preachers Table, didn't start as a course. It started as a conviction I kept coming back to in my own preaching: that a sermon isn't finished when it's understood. It's only finished when something actually changes because of it.
"I don't measure the success of a sermon by how well it was received, but by whether it helped people take one step closer to Jesus."
I'm an ordained minister with Assemblies of God GB, with two decades of pastoral ministry behind me, including roles as Youth Pastor, Young Adult Pastor, Regional Young Adults Leader, a place on the National Youth Team, Campus Pastor and Associate Pastor, alongside serving as a School Governor. I currently serve as Associate Pastor at London Riverside Church, where years of developing people, leading teams and communicating biblical truth to diverse audiences shaped the conviction behind The Table: that good communication isn't the goal. Transformed people are.
Before and alongside ministry, I've also managed teams outside the church, in retail, procurement and office settings, backed by a degree in Business Management: real workplaces with real people.
I'm married to Sheree and we have two children. Outside of ministry, I'm usually found cooking, watching Liverpool FC and MMA, or lost in anime, manga, manhwa, or whatever culture and creativity I'm currently exploring.
I know what I'm here to do: help people find, develop and flourish in their relationship with Jesus. The Table exists to pass that on: first to preachers and over time to communicators and leaders too, so that the people they're speaking to don't just leave informed. They leave different.
